Process
Our simple tools are made locally, and more complex tools are made overseas due to the technology in South Africa is limited.
Complex tools (which we have been supplying for over 10 years):
Upon placement of an order and deposit, a drawing of the product will be submitted to the customer for approval and at a cost a 3D working sample will be supplied. Dependant on production / plastic polymer, material specs of mould can be imposed with relevant COC.
We have recently supplied a swimming pool motor pump body mould:
Weight 3 tons and have Cap moulds (32 cavity) presently running for the last “5 years” without any problem.
These moulds come with guarantees that are legitimate in South Africa and modifications/alterations are done by a reputable tool and die maker in South Africa.
Once the mould is finished samples will be run and presented for approval.
The average delivery time from deposit into account, to mould arriving from overseas, is between three and four months.
